Yunnan Yuntianhua Co., Ltd is a comprehensive chemical enterprise which mainly take phosphate industry as the core based on its advantage of resources. The company is one of the most outstanding manufacturers for phosphate fertilizers, nitrogen fertilizer and polyoxymethylene in the world, and the largest phosphate mining enterprise in China.
In the year of 1997, the company was solely initiated and established by Yunnan Yuntianhua Group Co., Ltd (Yuntianhua Group) and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code 600096). By fully taking the advantages and opportunities of the IPO, the company had expended its business field from sole nitrogenous fertilizer to diversified businesses including organic chemical industry, which realized industrial diversification.
In May 2013, Yuntianhua Group had injected its high quality assets such as phosphate rock, phosphate fertilizer, phosphate chemical industry, trade and logistics as well as utilities into the company to achieve the overall listing of the main business of the group. After the assets restructuring, the company has five major industrial clusters including phosphate mining and dressing, phosphate fertilizer, nitrogen fertilizer, new materials and trade and logistics business, and has became the most competitive listed company under Yuntianhua Group; Meanwhile, the headquarter of the company relocated from Shuifu County to Kunming.In January 2016, the company completed the private placement process for ICL(Israel Chemicals) and successfully introduced ICL as the foreign strategic investor hence optimizing the company’s capital structure and increasing the competitiveness.
At present, the company has total assets more than 70 billion RMB, with more than 50 subsidiaries (such as,Yunnan Shuifu Yuntianhua Co., Ltd, Yunnan Phosphate Chemical Group Co., Ltd, Yunnan Yuntianhua United Commerce Co., Ltd., Yunnan Tian’an Chemical Co., Ltd, Hulun Buir Jinxin Chemical Co. Ltd., Tianmeng Agricultural Materials Chain Co., Ltd., Chongqing Yuntianhua Newmi_Tech Co., Ltd.,etc) with more than 20,000 employees, the company has spread production bases within dozen provinces including Yunnan, Chongqin, Qinhai, ect., and established sales companies in Middle East and Southeast Asia. Among the main products of the company, total fertilizer capacity is 10 million tons/year including 8 million tons/year high concentrated compound phosphate fertilizers with capacity ranking as the first in China and second in the world. POM capacity is 90K tons/year with capacity ranking as the first in China and fifth in the world. Phosphate ore mining capacity is 12 million tons/year with capacity ranking as the first in China and second in the world. The company also has been ranking as 115st in Top 500 China Listed Companies and the 1st in China Chemical Listed Companies in 2015。
